Lifestyle, Adventure and Sports centric Swiss watch Manufacturer HUBLOT announced its partnership with the legendary and mega-popular athlete Kobe Bryant in 2013. HUBLOT released their special edition KING POWER BLACK MAMBA that honored the basketball star turned lifestyle icon brand.

The watch has an impressive 48mm wide case, thats mostly matte black ceramic with titanium and a host of other materials that go into HUBLOT's "FUSION" construction. The strap is very noticeable. The smooth scales offer the strap a very snake like appearance and under the strap is the customary HUBLOT rubber lines that adds to the comfort and lasts long.

The dial has the conventional LAKERS colors (purple and gold) and KOBE's jersey number is prominently seen at the bottom of the dial. A black snake figurine is placed onto the dial that appears wrapped around the sub-dials. A closer look at the figurine clearly shows the gold colored forked figurine serpentine tongue.

The watched is cased with a HUBLOT HUB 4248 automatic chronograph movement. It has a centrally mounted 48 minute chronograph, seconds sub-dial and date. 48 minutes is the length of a basketball game. The transparent back case has an autograph of Kobe Bryant. The collector's watch also comes with a Kobe autographed NIKE "ZOOM VIII" shoe cased in an elegant transparent display unit.
